A SWEET SIN

This is the longest and I think my best poem till date.

I came across a man
Whose living was banned
He was to die tomorrow
But was untouched by any grief or sorrow

Impalpable was his smile
Lips spreading up to miles
A joyous glow on his face
Fear of death without a trace

He seemed to watch a fairy dance
Goddess of beauty giving him a glance
Like a child playing with a butterfly
He smiled before saying good bye

Then one night he invaded my dreams
Full of questions my heart seemed to scream
He would share a secret he said
A secret about the life he led

I committed a crime, he said, it's true
But then my options were so very few
You must think I killed her with a strife
I say I did, but just a sacrifice

But it wasn't for the lord
Nor for the mighty God
It was a selflessly selfish act
And the knowledge of consequences I didn't lack

She was to commit suicide
Knowing of which my heart cried
She was the music of my song
Without her I couldn't live for long

I couldn't imagine her sinning
So I had to plan her killing
I was joyous to take all the blame
And save my darling from a dreadful shame

So I had to end my love's life
It made me cry the whole previous night
But to live with her after death
I had kill her now and took this step

Then they came to arrest me
What a feeling it was to be free
They hanged me a black cloth around my face
And then my love brought me light,
And we kissed with such a grace

We finally were one
Just like the light and the sun
We gave new meanings to love
By being together even up above

So this is my story he at last said
Now back to heaven I must hurry and he fled
Then I woke up find
That the man in my dreams was me,
And the story was mine.

LOVE HURTS

I'm in my room,
And the lights are gone,
I hope you'll be here soon,
Before the sun has shone.

These were the rhymes,
You whispered in my ears,
Before closing my eyes,
Took away all my fears.

I most awaited the moment,
When we would love each other,
With no worries in our minds,
Like we're forever.

But the wheel of life,
Has spun once again,
Snatching my only desire,
With agony to on me reign.

The last few days,
Were too heavy on us,
I was out of control,
But you never made a fuss.

My brain had gone nuts,
And you became calm and stiff,
Like the water is,
After falling from a cliff.

I can't forget the moment,
When the earth lost its hue,
That sad moment was,
When I killed you.
