A SWEET SIN

This is the longest and I think my best poem till date.

I came across a man
Whose living was banned
He was to die tomorrow
But was untouched by any grief or sorrow

Impalpable was his smile
Lips spreading up to miles
A joyous glow on his face
Fear of death without a trace

He seemed to watch a fairy dance
Goddess of beauty giving him a glance
Like a child playing with a butterfly
He smiled before saying good bye

Then one night he invaded my dreams
Full of questions my heart seemed to scream
He would share a secret he said
A secret about the life he led

I committed a crime, he said, it's true
But then my options were so very few
You must think I killed her with a strife
I say I did, but just a sacrifice

But it wasn't for the lord
Nor for the mighty God
It was a selflessly selfish act
And the knowledge of consequences I didn't lack

She was to commit suicide
Knowing of which my heart cried
She was the music of my song
Without her I couldn't live for long

I couldn't imagine her sinning
So I had to plan her killing
I was joyous to take all the blame
And save my darling from a dreadful shame

So I had to end my love's life
It made me cry the whole previous night
But to live with her after death
I had kill her now and took this step

Then they came to arrest me
What a feeling it was to be free
They hanged me a black cloth around my face
And then my love brought me light,
And we kissed with such a grace

We finally were one
Just like the light and the sun
We gave new meanings to love
By being together even up above

So this is my story he at last said
Now back to heaven I must hurry and he fled
Then I woke up find
That the man in my dreams was me,
And the story was mine.

NOT MADE OF STONE

I've been screaming
Hoping someone would hear
But people around are dreaming
Their dreams to me unclear

Even the rocks break down
Getting hit by the waves
But they can't hear a sound
Believing I'm in my grave

They go on to say
That seldom I speak
But their ears they wouldn't lay
To any word my mouth leaks

My wounds are salted
When they ask why I'm off
It's difficult to keep one's tears halted
When what one says, is neglected with a cough

If I were to die
I know you wouldn't shed a tear
But before you make me cry
Know that you have more to fear.

THE GODS ENVY ME

If the birds were to sing
It would be for you
The beauty fairies bring
They get it from you
When the Gods dream of joy
They dream of you

I've forgotten the Lord
But I think of you 24x7
Coz you're the conspiracy of God
To turn earth into heaven

The way you smile
When we shake hands
You make my heart fragile
And get me off these lands

The Gods are happy
That they made you
But they also envy me
Coz they don't have you but I do.

UNREASONLESS

The night seems so long today
Without your presence
For days to be a sweet song
You're the essence

All around is bonhomie
Without you an adourless rose
You make mid-day of mid-night
Whenever you get so close

I watch you dance
As the waves kiss your feet
Light and darkness fight over your glance
It's just you making the world complete

The way you smile
My fears start to sink
Your touch though fragile
Cures me of a million sins

You're the God's gift
For my good deeds
And I promise to love you
Till my last breath is freed.

SAVE ME!

My room-mate was a jumbo,
More known for being a dumbo.
He cracked a walnut under his butt,
And thought a slang for fairies was slut.

He looked inhuman,
Because of his belly,
Got stuck in a commode,
Because of his folly.

He would dream of girls,
And would always pray,
That unlike always,
His face wouldn’t scare them away.

Whenever he spoke,
People around were hit,
By the odour of this bloke,
And by his filthy spit.

He stank like a pig,
Drenched in puke,
He killed a skunk,
And became Stinkland’s duke.

How my room-mate was,
I cannot describe,
If you’ve seen a shitting dog,
That’s what he looked like.

Note: Please pardon the language.
No offences to my room-mates, it’s just for fun.
