Immortal

Everyone remembers when I
Took my first breath
And I also want them to remember
Me after my death

Why should I do
What you want me to
Why can't I follow my heart
And create a new path

Why has my life
Been bordered with expectations
Expectations I can't stand up to
Why can't I do something
Which generations have failed to do

If failure's the prime step to success
Let me set me my own sail
Let me style my way to progress
And don't fear me fail

Because I know that
I'll make it big one day
If I do what I'm good at
And not do what you say

I don't mean to offend you
I just want a happy breath
I want to be someone
Who's remembered even after his death

The Superhero

I know a guy,
As thin as paper,
Once I saw him fly,
But it was the wind blowing him over.

Unlike my room-mate,
This flying-machine is lucky,
Girls are attracted to the kid,
Wondering how many months old is he.

He often misses classes,
Depriving us of a gag,
It's the seniors who often,
Zip him in his college bag.

He carries packs of ice,
Saying to prevent transpiration,
But I know he lies,
They're to prevent his evaporation.

How this deformed guy is,
I cannot describe,
If you've seen Shakira shake her belly,
That's how his whole body shakes like.

NOTE: Never turn on the fan or sneeze when this guy's around, it blows him away.
No offence to Shoney!!!

SCHOOL DAYS

Lips spread to a smile,
Tears start to run,
Everytime I remember,
Those days I had fun.

Pictures flash in my mind,
The bonds so truesome,
Everytime I remember,
Those days I had fun.

The rules we broke,
Having regrets none,
Everytime I remember,
Those days I had fun.

Of supporting my friends,
When teachers held the gun,
Everytime I remember,
Those days I had fun.

The throat starts to choke,
Red my face turns,
Everytime I remember,
Those days I had fun.

Smiles ending all exams,
But tears ending the last one,
Everytime I remember,
My school days in Sanjeewan.
