THE PROMISES YOU BROKE

WARNING: Following is one my worst poems ever, read at your own risk. Can anybody please explain why one falls short of words when one needs them the most during a heavy heart.

I'll love you forever
Now that's become a joke
I'll be there you'll need me whenever
They're some of the promises you broke

You said we're here forever
Didn't know forever's so short
Wish I was a bit more clever
Coz you mishandled my heart

You always wished that
I write poems for you
So here I am so glad
Exposing the dirty deeds you do

But I don't know why
I look at your picture all day
Even though you made me cry
For your well-being I always pray

WORST OF LOVERS

I'm homeless
Coz I don't live in your heart
I get breathless
The moment I see you pass
And I can get hopeless
If it can keep us from falling apart

We may be best of friends
But certainly the worst of lovers
We may go setting trends
But you hear my heart never

I'm disguising my thoughts
To tell you how I feel
I'm wishing I'm caught
Coz I can't crush my zeal

I wanna see us together fly
And for that anything I'll do
Coz no matter if I live or die
I'll just keep loving you.

MIRROR

I stand facing the mirror
Like a baby I cry
But my image doesn't smile
No matter how hard I try

I drink my tears
And wipe my face
I forget my fears
And a joy I embrace

I want to be happy
So I spread my lips
I start to laugh
And my image reflects bliss

This is how the world is
It reflects you
You escape nothing nor miss
Bore fruits for what you do

You're born empty handed
And that's how you'll die
So why do you feel stranded
And over petty things you cry

You love your money
Does it love you back
Try loving your honey
He/she'll follow your track

Don't think what you could've done
Think what you're gonna do
Coz life is a mirror
It just reflects you.
